Nowadays everyone is looking for a good price for gas. Still, with prices quickly going up, it seems that everyone is emptying their pocket books just to fill up their tanks.
Thank heavens that here in Conroe, prices are a little better! In fact, gas prices are lower in Conroe than in most of the Houston area, as well as in the rest of the nation.
Data from gasbuddy.com states that the average price of 10 polled stations listed by their site is $3.364 for regular unleaded gasoline as of March 6. This price is two cents cheaper than the average Houston area price of $3.386. The average price in Texas is $3.393 and the US Average is $3.485.
Sam’s Club at 2000 Westview Blvd is currently the cheapest fuel in town at only $3.28 for club members. The regular station’s cheapest price is $3.35 and several area stations are posting that price, too.
