The Montgomery County Memorial Library System needs $5000 in an effort to purchase new material. The Central Library will hold a book sale hosted by the Library Friends of Conroe to raise these funds.

The price range for most books in the book sale are from $.50 to $2.00.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 6th through Saturday, October 8th. On October 6th, the sale is from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m and a silent auction ending at 6:30 p.m.. Entry is for Members only and Library Friends of Conroe membership is available for a $5 donation. The October 7th and 8th book sales have free entry. Book sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m respectively, and visitors can fill a bag for $2 from noon till 2 p.m.
