Texas Music Throwdown to Benefit Heroes On The Water

The Texas Music Throwdown will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on September 11, 2010 from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. The benefit concert is being held in honor of wounded military veterans and 100% of the concert proceeds will be donated to Heroes On The Water (HOW).
The Heroes On The Water foundation was created in 2007 by Jim Dolan, a former United States Air Force pilot. And, in just over two years, HOW has developed into a nationally recognized non-profit group that enables wounded military veterans to get out into nature where they can enjoy the independence and triumph that only a day in the great outdoors can provide.
The organizers of the Texas Music Throwdown explain that they “have witnessed the dramatic positive influence that HOW has had on the lives of these brave servicemen and women, and when we asked ourselves what we could do to benefit this fantastic organization, the Texas Music Throwdown emerged as the answer.”
This year’s concert performers include:
- CORY MORROW
- MAX STALLING
- CODY JOHNSON BAND
- SCOOTER BROWN BAND
- CHRISTEN SAWYER
- CHAD HAMMOCK BAND
- CLAY MELTON BAND
Join the Throwdown and honor their cause…
*If not for the selfless service of these courageous individuals, we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today, and it is our time to give back and say thanks.*
