As Fall approaches and the weather turns cooler, Rotary fundraising season kicks into high gear. And, the two Conroe clubs have exciting events in the works to raise funds for their upcoming charitable work planned for 2011.

Rotary Club of Conroe will host their Annual Fish Fry and Reverse Raffle from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on October 12, 2010, at The Montgomery County Fairgrounds Exhibition Building. They are planning a silent auction which will include the announcement of four raffle prize winners. Dinner tickets are $10 and raffle tickets are only $100, and the first place prize is a dream cruise! Second-place prize is a $3,000 gift card and the third and fourth place prize is a $1,000 gift card.

The Rotary Club of Lake Conroe’s annual fall fundraising function, Hot! Hot! HOT! Dinner, Dance and Auction will take place on October 16, 2010, at Walden Yacht Club. With the clubs annually changing themes, this year’s South of the Border theme is sure to spice things up! The club has planned a casual evening filled with great food and exotic music that will also include both a live and silent auction. For just $20 per ticket, there will also be a Hot! Hot! HOT! Raffle - with the grand prize of a week’s stay in a private, luxury condo in Costa Rica.
